Confusing anniversary Confusing anniversary, as Diamond in Europe means 60th anniversary, in the States 75th. (UNITED STATES OF AMERICA - 1951)


Wrong figure The value in local script shows 3,25 AFS instead of 3,75 AFS. (AFGHANISTAN - 1964)


2 instead of 3 On some of those stamps, the 3-digit is missing, while the 2 appears twice. (BELGIUM - 1971)


Wrong date China offres an excellent service to philatelists, numbering and dating all their stamps. Except here … 1855 is not correct, the stamp was issued in 1955. (CHINA - )


Wrong figure. A printed 7 never has a small horizontal line. See other stamp. (GERMANY - 1953)


Inadapted offer As the booklet contains 18p stamps, the offer should be three 18p stamps instead of four 13p stamps (correct on the cover). (UNITED KINGDOM - )


Wrong count. Virgilius was born in 70 before Christ. As after the year 1 before Christ follows the year 1 after Christ, this 2.000th anniversary was commemorated one year too early. (ITALY - 1930)


Additional zero. Used postal stationary card with, just below the face of Queen Juliana, a small circular mark. (NETHERLANDS - 1970)


Wrong value. Central stamp has a value of 25 bani instead of 5 bani. (ROMANIA - 1893)


Language error Wrong : ESCOLUIT - Correct : EXCOLUIT (VATICAN - 1955)


Wrong place Not an error for Sweden, as Swedish phones have the 0 before the 1. In other countries however, the zero is located after the 9. (SWEDEN - 1976)
